A Princess Defended Her Kingdom

That's what we'll tell everyone tonight while the kids are trick or treating.

See, the Wide-Eyed Mischief Maker got bonked by her brother's hard head and has this pretty spectacular black eye. Since her brother is going as a liger (yes, a liger, my husband's idea), and the WEMM is going as Cinderella, I'm going to tell everyone she was defending her kingdom from the liger's attacks.

Partly true.

  1. Most Ingenious!!!

I'm going as a broke, toothless embittered redneck, but nobody has told me what the littles are going as yet. The Queen of the house, however, made a St. Therese surrounded by roses pumpkin.

  2. Seriously? You gotta upload a picture of that pumpkin! There needs to be a good website devoted (heh heh) to Catholic pumpkin patterns...the Christian ones out there are totally lame.

  3. Ligers are awesome.

But Gryphons are better. Just sayin.

  4. Aha, well, when my husband took them shopping, the boy was pouncing up and down at the lion costume, so we figured he'd want to do that. Next year though!
